Environmental, Social and Governance Strategy (ESG)
Sustainability in the Business Model
Our role as a leader in truck, machinery, and equipment rental is based on innovation and a commitment to sustainability.
We believe in a culture of use, not ownership. Therefore, we offer our clients the best services through our trucks and machines, encouraging rental as a viable reality, in line with our goal of increasingly integrating sustainability into our business.
Our product portfolio includes low-carbon solutions, such as electric trucks and forklifts, as well as trucks compatible with biomethane use—options that emit fewer greenhouse gases (GHG) compared to fossil fuel-powered vehicles. Additionally, we offer the VAMOS Zero Carbon Program, which gives our clients the opportunity to offset the emissions generated by their rented assets.
VAMOS’s purpose is: “To create opportunities for the renewal of the Brazilian fleet, generating value and driving the development of our clients, our people, and our country.”. This purpose is aligned with our ESG goals:

Sustainability Governance
Our sustainability governance is structured to ensure the effective and comprehensive execution of the ESG agenda across all areas of the company. To achieve this, we have established robust governance processes that span various levels and departments. We also have a dedicated Sustainability department responsible for disseminating the strategy and ensuring its implementation.
To guide VAMOS’s governance processes, we adopt documents and guidelines that direct the company’s activities and promote strategies for ESG impact development. The main policies that support this commitment are: Sustainability Policy, Human Rights Policy and Climate Change Policy
These policies are approved by the Board of Directors and are publicly available here.

ESG Impact Programs
- VAMOS Carbon Zero Program
Our VAMOS Carbon Zero Program offers clients the opportunity to offset emissions generated by rented assets, reinforcing our commitment to a low-carbon economy. In 2024, we neutralized over 9,000 tons of carbon equivalent through the program. - Valued Mechanic Program
Focused on productive inclusion, this program structures the career path of our mechanics, offering development tracks from apprentices to advanced levels. - Fleet Renewal Program
Held in 2021 and 2023, this program focused on fleet renewal and circular economy. More than 150 trucks over 20 years old were removed from Brazilian roads. The transaction allowed former owners to use the received value to purchase new or semi-new vehicles or even carry out personal projects. The vehicles were sent for scrapping.
