MESSAGE FROM THE MANAGEMENT

Combining growth, scale and solid foundations, in 2023 we expanded our market leadership and maintained our pace of sustainable development.

Regarding the sales market for used car rental assets, we also presented an important evolution in the year, with an increase in net revenue and gross profit in relation to the previous year, reinforcing the favorable dynamics of the situation and our assertive purchasing strategy.

In the truck dealership segment, we completed the acquisition of the Tietê Truck and Bus Dealership Chain, reinforcing our presence in the State of São Paulo, the most important consumer hub in Brazil. As a reinforcement, specifically for farm dealerships, we acquired DHL Valtra, marking our presence in the second most important Brazilian state in agribusiness, Paraná.

We remained in the B3 Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) and Carbon Efficient Index (ICO) portfolios, which attests to our commitment to transparency about our emissions and evolution towards a low-carbon economy. Furthermore, our CSA rating was elevated, we achieved a Silver Seal in the Ecovadis rating, and maintained a B rating from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), above the global average and in line with the sector and Latin American peers.

To benefit the environment, we renewed the national fleet, through our core activity, contributing to the replacement of old vehicles with newer ones, which use less fuel and, therefore, emit less Greenhouse Gases (GHG), in addition to increasing road safety and driver well-being. Encouraged by MP no. 1,175/23, we acquired more than 100 trucks under the national Fleet Renewal program, sending them to specialized recycling centers and boosting the circular economy.

For all these advances, I thank our people for developing serious, competent and committed work. I thus stress my confidence in 2024 and in our willingness to continue evolving in delivering positive results in another cycle of sustainable development.
