VAMOS Locação is a leader in the truck, machinery and equipment rental sector in Brazil, and offers a unique ecosystem of alternatives for renewing and expanding the fleet.
We are the largest company in the heavy-duty rental segment and organize our activities between asset rental, with the sale of pre-owned assets, in addition to the industrial activity of asset customization. Our operational structure already exceeds 50,000 rental assets, with 16 owned stores for the sale of pre-owned assets in the rental segment. In the Industrial segment, we operate through Truckvan, a reference company in road equipment for the heavy-duty segment with 54 distributors spread throughout Brazil, as well as through BMB, an automotive customization company, which has had an exclusive partnership with Volkswagen Caminhões & Ônibus for over 20 years.
The Company is controlled by SIMPAR holding company, through which the rental services has existed for over 20 years, when VAMOS’ rental business was part of the activities carried out by the former parent company JSL S.A. (currently SIMPAR).
VAMOS Locação is a publicly traded company, listed on the Novo Mercado of the Brazilian stock exchange, B3, since January 2021, when the initial public offering (IPO) occurred with the ticker VAMO3, and since 2023 it has been part of IBOVESPA – the main performance indicator of shares traded on B3 and which brings together the most important companies in the Brazilian capital market.
VAMOS currently has around 2,000 employees, focused on offering excellent service to customers, in an agile and secure manner. Over the past few months, VAMOS has received important recognitions such as: Best Truck Rental Company, in the Estadão Mobility Award for 2025, Biggest and Best in Transport 2024, in the heavy asset leasing category, by Editora OTM, and Most Remembered Brand in truck rental by the Top of Mind Transport Award in 2024, by Transpodata. In the ESG environment, VAMOS Rental has been part of ISE since 2023 and received the GHG Protocol Gold Seal for the fourth consecutive year, reinforcing the important recognition for the level of governance in the certification of the gas emission inventory.
In December 2024, the process of spinning off VAMOS’ heavy dealership business, for trucks, buses, machinery and yellow line, was completed, which was integrated into another company of the Simpar Group, Automob Participações S.A., forming the largest dealership group in Brazil. Thus, VAMOS Rental is dedicated to heavy asset leasing services, a market with great potential for development in Brazil.
